You applied, a person read it, and you were approved. This page covers the first hour: what you have, what to do in order, and the one step that decides whether you can actually take money from your clients.
When you are done here, Start here explains how the product is arranged.
What just happened
- You applied at practice.todaytomorrowplan.com/apply.
- You confirmed your email address. Nothing reached us until you did.
- Someone read your application and approved it. There is no automatic approval.
- You were emailed an invite to set a password.
★ We never see your password. Your account did not exist until you accepted that invite — that is why there was no “temporary password” email. Nobody at TTP has ever known your credential and nobody can tell you what it is.
⚙️ If the invite is not in your inbox, check spam. It is a real thing that happens, and the invite can be re-sent.
Who is who
Four kinds of person, and they never see each other’s screens.
| who | where | |
|---|---|---|
| Your practice | you and your consultants | the studio |
| Your client’s sponsor | the person who approves and pays | the client portal |
| Your client’s staff | people using an app you built for them | the delivered app |
| TTP | us | the platform, which is not your firm |
A “practice” is your firm. Your consultants work inside it. Your clients each get an engagement, and the apps you build are delivered to them.
⚠️ The step that decides whether you get paid
Do this before you send your first invoice.
TTP does not hold your clients’ money. When a client pays by card, the charge goes directly to your own Stripe account — TTP never touches it. That account has to exist first.
Go to Payment Settings (/payment-config) and connect your Stripe account.
You will be sent to Stripe to enter your business details, and returned here when it is done. It is a real business-identity step: bank details and ID. Only someone who can act for your firm can complete it, and it cannot be done for you.
Until you do
Invoicing still works. You can generate and email invoices as PDFs. But an invoice will carry no card-payment link, and the refusal says exactly that:
Card collection through TTP needs this firm to connect its own Stripe account first. This invoice is generated as a PDF and can be emailed — nothing is lost. Connect the account on the Payment Settings screen, then re-send to collect by card.
⚙️ You can also be paid by bank transfer with no Stripe at all — put your wire details in your firm profile and they are printed on the invoice. An invoice with neither a card link nor wire details is refused before it sends, so a client can never receive an invoice they have no way to pay.
★ This is the single most common reason a practice is live but not getting paid. Everything else works out of the box; this one step is yours and nothing does it for you.
Day one, in order
The studio shows a checklist on your home screen. In the order it matters:
- Take the studio tour (
/tour) — ten minutes, and it saves an hour. - Set up your firm profile (
/operator) — your business name, branding and wire details. Your name appears on your clients’ invoices and portals, so this is not cosmetic. - Connect Stripe (
/payment-config) — see above. - Add your first client (
/clients). - Create your first engagement (
/engagements) — the container for scope, contract, the app, time and invoices. - Invite your client to the portal — they sign in by magic link. No password for them to lose.
- Build your first page — or explore with sample data first.
⚙️ Steps 4–7 are the actual product. Steps 1–3 are setup you do once.
What your plan includes
| tier | seats | live client apps | AI tokens / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 3 | 3 | 250,000 |
| Practice | 10 | 15 | 1,000,000 |
| Firm | 25 | Unlimited | 3,000,000 |
- Seats are consultants in your practice with an active membership. A pending invite is not a seat, and a revoked one is given back.
- Live client apps counts applications currently deployed, not deploys. Redeploying is never penalised.
- AI tokens are metered per month. When a month’s budget is spent, AI calls stop rather than billing you past it.
How you pay us
You are emailed an invoice with 14 days to pay. We do not hold a card.
If you were given a free trial, no invoice is issued until it ends — then the first one arrives, due 14 days later. Still no card.
